Should the letting proceed to contract being signed by both Landlord and Tenant then the one week Holding Deposit is put towards the first month's rental payment.

Security Deposit

A Security Deposit equivalent to five week's rent is payable prior to contracts being signed on a letting. Some Landlords accept a Deposit Replacement Scheme instead of a Deposit.
